New Year's Day Village Walk, Thursday 1st January 2026

A map will be available at the Village Hall from 9.30am onwards for newcomers and 'old timers' who have forgotten the route (or see below). However, we all know that there are some who do bits of the walk, or do it 'back to front' or even some who just want to meet up at the Village Hall for refreshments.  Refreshments (mulled wine and mince pies) half way round the route - from about 10am - at Su Leavesley's house in Tabernacle Lane (The Last Homely House, NR16 1LE) and at the end of the walk at the Village Hall (soup, rolls, hot and cold drinks) from about 11.30am. No charge for the refreshments but donations welcome in aid of the Trussell Trust which provides food banks throughout Norfolk. The bar will also be open for anyone wanting something stonger.
