Twenty bags of rubbish were collected and were duly taken away by South Norfolk Council. We will also be entered into a prize draw, for taking part, with the possibility of winning £200.

Following on from this, South Norfolk Council will be undertaking a “clean sweep” of the parishes within the Tas Valley, between 2nd and litter which accumulates over the winter months from the roads, kerb edges and pavements. South Norfolk Council already have a route scheduled but please contact the clerk if you know of a particular area that would benefit from a good sweep – we can ask for particular roads of paths to be included.

Repairs have been completed to the Forncett St Mary war memorial. Carl Wilson has made a fantastic job of the repair, at no labour cost, for which the parish council would like to pass on their sincere thanks. The war memorial is reinstated to an excellent condition and Carl has also given invaluable advice for the ongoing care and maintenance of the memorial.
